The app

Sun Screen collects nothing about you. It has no account, no analytics and no tracking, and it never connects to the internet. It asks for no permissions and never reads your keyboard. The two optional keyboard shortcuts are registered with macOS in the normal way, so the app only ever hears those two key combinations.

Its settings and a small troubleshooting log stay inside the app's own folder on your Mac. Nothing is ever sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes them.

Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We never see your payment details.

This website

sunscreen.scalus.app uses the Meta pixel so we can see which ads bring people here and whether they go on to the App Store. It sets Meta cookies in your browser. In the UK and Europe the page asks before it loads the pixel, and nothing loads if you say no. The site has no forms and collects nothing you type.
